It reminds me of a short novella I read, I wish I could remember the name of it. I can picture this fictional man in his field leaning against a faded wooden post, hat tipped over his face as the sun continued to shine, even after his life ended.

This poem is macabre, but oddly enchanting. Kudos to you Gunslinger Poet, you killed it, literally. This poem is definitely a new favorite.

I Clemens saw both ends of the barrel. Both can be used. One is a club, an ace opener and the other end a heart with its aorta exposed.
